Great store - go pickup a signed copy of Splitting Pennies on display now! We need to support our local bookstores! This is not only a great bookstore but they have tons of books for children. Store is clean, has a great selection, and in a convenient and well kept part of Charlotte.

This bookstore has lovely, calm atmosphere and it's filled with a wide variety of books and puzzles. My only issue is that the adult fiction shelves are divided into Mystery, Classics (sans mystery classics like Arsene Lupin and Agatha Christie, as all those copies are shelved under Mystery), and All Other Fiction.

This is a great independent bookstore. I believe it's the last of its kind in Charlotte. They have a great selection of books and book themed gifts. They used do you have authorization to do readings, not sure if they still do. They have a great selection of local authors as well.

When I enter this local establishment I was struck with joy. Ive grown up in this area and now realize what a crime it was for me not to come here sooner. The staff was friendly, inviting and very helpful. I did not feel judged by them when asking simple questions. It is a great place to go to get inspiration to open up a book and dive in. As a future educator I see how engaging Park Road Books could be for challenged readers. They have a point system that is actually beneficial. Preordering books and pick up deliveries are available here. Thinking about buying a book on amazon? Why not shop local and make it a fun experience at the same time.

Love them! Not only are they an excellent local book store with a nice online website but they also are great book consultants! They helped me pick out books for all of my nieces and nephews for Christmas. Thanks yall!
