What a wonderful place this was. The nature center was impressive and staff was welcoming. Kids enjoyed the sand exhibit, reptiles and slack line. They have a set of trails that loop depending on how much you wanted to venture. Would come back again for sure.

Beautiful place for hiking. You can take the longer trail and go 1.6 miles each way, or stick to a shorter trail. Very peaceful although at times you can hear the nearby interstate. Lovely place for a walk in th he woods.
Bringing Miracles
First time to visit, had plans to hike and decided to go into the facility. Was so nice inside with some exhibits about the heelsplitter clam, also a very cool sand table! Hope to bring the grandchildren soon.

Just recently discovered this place by doing a Google search for hikes near me. It's a really nice area. Lots of wooded hiking trails and the museum facility was so nice as well. I hope to bring my grandchildren sometime so I can play in their kinetic sand exhibit.

Overall a great trail, not crowded like other greenways and its nice that its wheelchair accessible as well. The nature center is pretty cool too. The only downside is that one section of the trail runs next to the highway so its pretty loud. I also wish the trail was open to bikes, even if its on certain days or certain hours.
