Riverwalk Trestle

This Riverwalk trail was misleading because they had no maps with distance for the trail or where you would end up. We went for a short scenic walk and ended up walking almost 6 miles. Unless you are a seasoned walker or runner I would recommend just going to the trestle and taking some photos and going back to your car.

Nice and well kept place but there is a water treatment facility right next to one of the main hiking trails, the smell was enough to make me not want to come back.

Great place to unwind and relax while walking along the river. Trail is really well maintained and restrooms are usually clean.

Well worth the short drive from Charlotte! I often see deer on the greenway. The greenway ends after 3 miles and you turn around and walk the same trail back (6 miles maximum distance).
