Coyote Joe's

This is a country music bar in Charlotte and ok as far as bars go. We were lucky enough to see Luke Combs there for the taping of Apple Music Live. The place was packed beyond capacity with no AC and the fans were barely moving. Someone in the crowd passed out from the heat on the second song and Luke had to stop the concert. Luke was awesome though.

Overall I think this is a fun bar. It might not be for everyone, but if you're from the south and like country music even a little bit, you'll probably have a good time here. Seems like the place stays pretty busy and they have a lot of regulars. Plenty of dancing, live music, pool tables, bars, and even a mechanical bull. I would definitely go back. Pretty much my only gripe is that all the bars are cash only. Of course they have an ATM inside if needed, but it's still pretty inconvenient and not with the times. It's also 18+, so some of the crowd can be considerably young. Again though, I'd come back.

The house band was great and Scotty knows how to put on a show! The bars were pretty easy to get to if you were in the front row and near the edge like I was! The staff was nice and attentive. The security was ready to deal with situations that would arise. Overall it was a great night and I hope to be back soon!

If I had to pick a place in Charlotte to get hate crimed, no better place than Coyote Joe's. This is the place to see smaller country artists that are up and coming. As for the atmosphere, think stepping back into 1950, but country. If you're a white man, remember to wear sleeves. If you're a white girl, no shirt = free drinks (at least according the signs inside). If you're a minority of any kind (black, brown, gay, etc.), do not set foot into this place. Staff extremely rude, actually cursed us out. You wanna be a country bar in the city? That's fine. Either get with the times, ditch the double standards, or get left in the past.

Had an awesome time last night. This was our first time at Coyote joes and we had an absolute blast. First off the bars were ready and flowing and the drinks were the perfect blend. We grabbed our drinks and hit the dance floor to secure our spot for the oncoming show. THE HOUSE BAND KILLED IT. various songs from various artist and every one was shredded by the electric guitarist (Steve) I believe his name was. WE WILL BE COMING BACK. 3 hour trip to see Priscilla Block and we had such a great time we are already talking about our next trip to Coyote Joe's !!!!!
