As far as facilities for tennis and golf in Charlotte, Carmel country club is at the top of the food chain. Really exquisite club and facilities. When you visit, you'll understand the comment better. The club is really high end and the members tend to be very personable.

Very nice club off of Carmel Rd. in the heart of Charlotte. Went here to watch a USTA pro league. Beautiful clay courts and nice pro shop too. Theres a deck/balcony where you can see pretty much all the courts.

Played here prior to a USO tournament and it was one of the nicest golf experiences I've had. The pro shop and club house are fantastic. The multiple practice areas are top notch. We played the North and it was a treat.
