Good for a short stop, if you are in the area, for a little information for kids about water, wood. A big "+" for the electronic microscopes available to explore the structure of things. New building, very clean, very clean restrooms. The staff was really nice.

My kids and I had a wonderful time at the artistry hike. Staff was super friendly. My children loved the microscopes. They went outside and found items to look at under the electronic microscope and were even able to see bugs that were not visible to the naked eye. A great experience to open their minds to the natural world. I can't wait to come back to enjoy the trails.

Nice little nature experience,. Last weekend was free due to Charlotte Water Day. We enjoyed the local animals and fish displays. My daugher also enjoyed the beverage acidity test from Charlotte Water. A Good Afternoon. Charlotte really needs a Zoo!

Personally I dont think its to kid friendly. Dont take kids while there doing a presentation. Lady was rude telling us to move on down because the sound coming in. Im sorry my kids was having fun and I was polite trying to keep there voice down. Did not like that at all. Other staff 10-10 amazing sweet. Beautiful place! Nice gift shop! Good walking places but not good on a cold day if you got kids! Better stay quiet..

This is a wonderful place, our three children had a amazing time and David went above and beyond to make sure they had a great experience. We will definitely be back.
