We had a good time today. We watched the volcano movie and it was amazing! Very clean. All the staff was very nice and helpful. I wish I would have know it was field trip day for several bud loads of kids. Lol. Still had a good time. I highly recommend this place. *We parked in the parking deck next door and we were charged $17.00 for less than 2 hrs. Charged us for all day.

I love IMAX Dome, I LOVED the show and graphics!! Very cool! Sound and visuals were awesome! 1 thing I would highly recommend to really enjoy the experience is if they had reclining chairs. I was scooted down in my chair then sideways in 2 chairs. trying to see all the graphics & designs. It was quite difficult trying to get comfortable.

Watched one of the Discovery Center educational movies, "Dinosaurs in Antarctica". Nice experience, impressive sound, cool immersion through the spherical screen. However, the large screen covers such a huge space that you have to crane your head around to see the edges. Also some technical details that probably need to be worked out as the picture sometimes got distorted or out of focus slightly...

Our 6 year old grandson absolutely loved the volcano movie. The whole experience with sound and amazing pictures was outstanding. If the seats reclined a tiny bit to get the full scale of the picture, it would be 5 stars.

the problem should be that the ticket to watch in the theater should already be included, not buying again up front to watch. It's ok with friends but best when you bring kids

We saw Twister at IMAX today. Seeing a movie there makes you want to go for EVERY film! It is more expensive- $21.75 +tax each adult ticket. I didn't enjoy it that much. Spoiler Alert! Don't read any further if you haven't seen Twister yet! Helen Hunt is not in movie, and 1st film was so much better. IMAX? IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE .

Surprisingly better than I thought! Saw the new twisters. There wasn't any food available to buy but the worker recommended we grab food at the convenient store about a block away. They were not strict about outside food which was great. Saved us lots of money!

My daughter and I love traveling to Charlotte for our mommy daughter trips. Our last trip we did the IMAX. It was an exciting, immersive experience. My daughter says she'll never forget seeing a "life size" dinosaur above her. We have explored the rest of the facility on our last two trips, all three stories! It give us hours of interesting learning experiences and of course the great memories. We are so grateful to have such an amazing community resource.

I took 2 special needs children and the staff was very friendly and supportive. The kids felt very comfortable and safe at the theater. Definitely will be back, we had a great experience!

Absolutely stunning IMAX experience! Crystal-clear visuals and immersive sound. A must-visit for movie buffs. 5 stars all the way! An amazing experience for anyone, I brought my grandfather to see a movie here for his birthday and hes still talking about how amazing it was months later
