Super Abari Game Bar
For anyone obsessed with old school pinball machines and gaming culture, Jonathan loves Super Abari Game Bar, dubbed “Charlotte’s original arcade and bar” and featuring over 30 games with a mix of cocktails and craft beer. Be sure to check their events calendar for community meet ups and epic tournaments.

Jonathan and Candelario called this popular neighborhood home and appreciated the walkability that puts you close to some of the city’s best restaurants, bars and shops.
Pins Mechanical Company
In need of a great date night spot? Jonathan and Candelario recommend Pins Mechanical Company, located in the heart of South End. Priding itself as a one-stop shop for craft beer, cocktails, duckpin bowling and more old school entertainment, visitors will find a playful alternative to a traditional night out with plenty of walkable options nearby for one last round.

The Sainted Trap Choir
Led by Grammy-winning artist Dennis Reed Jr. and DJ Fannie Mae herself, this 25+ person choir and star-studded band combines the energy of trap and the beats of hip hop with the power of gospel. They recently made it to the finals of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League” but check out their upcoming show calendar so you can witness this groundbreaking group up close.
Rally Pickleball
The site of Fannie & Shaddah’s proposal, this LGBTQ-owned facility is where “pickleball and craft cocktails collide,” and includes indoor and outdoor courts, as well as elevated cuisine. Whether you’ve been curious about what all the excitement around pickleball is or you’re already seasoned pro, this social experience is now a must-do in the Queen City.
Bloom Beaute Care
Located in the historic Dilworth neighborhood, Shaddah is just one of the many talented stylists at this boutique salon and spa. From semi-permanent brow enhancement to full-body waxing, all their services are based on the belief that “nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful.”
