The WORLD L!T Street Food Festival brings out the flavors of the world, uniting people from all over to enjoy the music and authentic cuisines found in the streets of cities around the world. WORLD L!T is your portal to the world. The vibes we send out are to amplify the cultures in our own communities to create space for people to travel in their minds, cross cultural boundaries, and come together to celebrate each other and be celebrated. Our festival debuted last year at the picturesque, and playful Camp North End, located in the heart of Charlotte, NC. The festival was noted for the aroma of authentic street foods in the air, international music acts that rarely get the main stage, and the collective vibe of our attendees.
2020 has put a damper on networking, celebrations and other interactions. But it won’t stop us! At this year’s festival, we will be launching “WORLD L!T CONNECTS”, our new digital event series. The festival will be hosted in a virtual environment and curated to help our community get WORLD L!T, while attendees mingle like never before. This is a rare opportunity to connect with leaders in Charlotte’s international food and music scene, performing artists abroad, and last, but not least, each other. We’re here to keep the revelry and connections going until its safe to hold our next in-person festival.
