Friends of the Mint invite you to hear artist Jonathan Green speak. Green, based in Charleston, SC, is considered to be one of the most important southern painters. His colorful works reflect a sense of history and place and he has exhibited in major national and international venues. The program is free and open to the public. Organized in 1965, the Friends of the Mint stimulates interest in and support for the Arts. The Friends sponsor a series of lectures featuring nationally and internationally renowned speakers in the art world that are free to the public with museum admission.
