This has been on my list to try for a long time and I'm so glad I finally made it. Covid-19: you can order and pay online. They offer curbside pickup. This was the worst part of our experience though. We got there at the time our food was supposed to be ready. We call and no one answers the phone (many times). Eventually, I decide to go inside because it seems like the only way to get my food. The food wasn't ready and she did bring it out once it was (a good 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready). We got the Mojo Hash, the Bird in the Hand, the Sweet Potato Waffle, a couple of wings, and Tennessee Fries. Everything was outstanding. I made a sandwich with the sweet potato waffle and wings which was probably my favorite thing. Probably the best chicken and waffle combo I've had. They used a chicken thigh for the Bird in the Hand which I loved because it was huge and juicy. It was a great chicken sandwich. I loved the flavor of the hash. The only downside was that we ordered an over easy egg and we got it over hard. We ate our food within 5 minutes of getting it, so either they overcooked it or it was sitting around for a while before they gave it to us. Whatever you do, you have to get the Tennessee Fries. The seasoning is to die for. They also put it on their wings. There are a lot of mixed reviews on here which I don't understand. This is some of the best breakfast food I've had in Charlotte.

There is a 23% BayHaven Pledge added to their already high prices. Before you order they mention that their is a service charge but dont mention how much. I could be wrong, but it seems illegal to not say how much a non optional service charge is until you get the bill. Other companies do it so we are too isnt good enough justification for me for the charge. They do try to guilt you with a full couple minute speech when you order about how the charge is for a living wage but tips are still appreciated. Well, companies should pay living wages in general, from listed prices. Food was good, service was subpar. Not returning due to the shadiness of the service charge along with the guilt trip of speech about how its so their workers are paid a livable wage.

Came here about 2 weeks ago. It was my first time having shrimp and grits and let me tell you.. it was DELICIOUS!! The blend of sweet and salty was amazing. I can honestly say Im a fan of shrimp and grits now since they made that experience a great one. If youve never tried it before and your in the Charlotte area, this place is DEFINITELY the one to go to. Great staff, very friendly and attentive. They also give generous portions for a good price, so if youre really hungry in the morning or are doing brunch look no further!

I love this place!!! Ive had several things on the menu. The Chicken and Waffles are amazing (make sure to request the seasoned chicken), the biscuits are heavenly, the Tennessee fries will have you licking your fingers, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon are made with perfection. True foodie and cant say enough GREAT things about this spot!
