Pure Pizza - Plaza Midwood

the pizza was very tasty with fine pasta and good ingredients, quality. I found the right price for a wood-burning pizza. I came here on a Sunday night and there was only one customer in the house. The request came out very quickly. The place looks a bit old, but I understand that it is part of the decoration of the place.

I love this place. Our favorites are the chorizo and lasagna pizza. I typically go for traditional topping pizzas but I was pleasantly surprised at these specialty pizzas that they offer. I recently brought them over to a friends game night and they were a hit! The service time is quick!

Phenomenal The ingredients were very high quality. Under $50 for appetizers, pizza, and meals for family of 3. Cannot beat it. The speed and service was amazing. Rarely find spots like this- especially post-COVID. So grateful to have happened upon this gem. Will recommend!

They've cut down table service, so you order up front at the door, then find a table where they'll bring out your food when it's ready. There's lots of seating, but we chose to dine on the big patio outside that looks like it would be a nice place to hang out in the evening, with lights strung around. We tried a couple of the $12 each 10 inch "craft pizzas". The "Deconstructed pulled pork" was interesting, with the pork buried under melted cheese, and the whole thing topped with red cabbage slaw. The salty ham on the "Pure Country" overpowered the garlic and basil. But, the crusts were deliciously light and crispy, with chewy air pockets from the hot oven. There are also sandwiches and calzones on the menu, and drinks were limited to overpriced canned sodas and bottled water in the fridge.

Thi review is definitely not to bash this restaurant or warm anyone not to go here. They have great pizza. This would be my third time coming and im a little disappointed because i asked for a vegan version of their mushroom pizza (which is just switching out the cheese, its something ive gotten before. This time it meant i didnt want sauce? Who goes to a pizza place and doesnt want sauce? Just writing a review so they do better with this. The pic shows a sauce i added at home.

Hole in a wall type place! Located off Central Ave. Friend and I decided to come for lunch. Arrived around 130ish, and the parking lot was EMPTY! you walk in, place your order at the counter, and then find a table, and they bring the food out for you. I ordered the chorizo personal pizza with Brussel sprouts. It was DELICIOUS! Pizza was made fresh, and the combination of chorizo with the radishes and lime they gave you gave it the extra kick! I definitely enjoyed that pizza and could've eaten the whole thing if I didn't stop myself. Brussel sprouts were flavorful. Grilled with all the spices, which made them flavorful and not just plain. The sanitation score was a bit low, 96.5, and the bathrooms had no soap in them and a broken toilet. Makes you wonder if the employees actually wash their hands if and when they use the bathroom. Superised at how it was empty when we came during lunch hour, which always makes me wonder what is wrong. Either way, my pizza was delicious, and I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items, but given the low sanitation score, I wouldn't come out of my way either. A big plus, though, they do have their own attached parking lot with PLENTY of parking spaces, which is always a plus, especially off Central Ave. Also, im not sure why this is coming up off The Plaza Rd. But this is located off Central Ave in front of Modish Nail Spa

Pure Pizza has been our go-to pizza spot for years. So far, nothing compares for us in Charlotte. Just visited their new location off of The Plaza & was beyond impressed as always with the pizza but also the new atmosphere! Congrats to Julie & her crew for all their hard work.

The vegan pizza was not the greatest I was greatly disappointed about how expensive it was for what I got. The fact that they didn't melt the the spinach was weird.
