Mugshots Coffee and Tea
Erin Tolfa
A group of us from Downtown Sanford, FL recently visited Downtown Belmont for a close friends wedding. We got lucky with finding the cutest Air BnB right off the strip of DT. During our stay I was stuck on a diet that consisted of no dairy, this is straight torture for me!!! Our 1st morning there we stumbled across Mugshots Coffee and Tea, I went with a Caramel Macchiato with oat milk (keeping it simple). No lie, I was blown away; this was literally the BEST coffee I have ever had!!! I do not say that lightly! Lets put it this way, we were there for 3 nights, so for 3 mornings I made it a point to stop in at Mugshots and order my macchiato then proceeded to take it to each restaurant we went to for breakfast. The baristas were wonderful and I wish I couldve brought this coffee spot home with us!!! Pictures dont lie.. this is me with my Mugshots coffee at each different breakfast spot we went to during our stay. #sorrynotsorry

12-5 -Update!! I had to come back and try another coffee! Today, right now, I am having a coffee with Rosemary and ginger and I love it!! 12/4 I finally found this place today and going back tomorrow. I had the smores latte and it was soooo good! I had the Best grilled sandwich from the deli next to it and also going back for another sandwich! A bit pricey but is Belmont so is not cheap!! U

The sourdough bread on my hot Reuben sandwich was life-changing perfectly crunchy and delicious, buttery, and fresh. The young staff was friendly. They genuinely seemed to want each customer to have a good experience, as they explained to us where the bathrooms were, what their favorite items on the menu were, and where we could find more shopping (aka an adorable ice cream counter and *chocolate shop*) upstairs. My husband and I loved this place so much, we came back twice in one day! Do yourself a favor and order a sandwich on their fresh bread, chat with the employees, and enjoy an iced tea on their cute patio where they also have games, WiFi, and electrical outlets.

This place was very cool coffee shop in Belmont NC. Super trendy! All types of different brews including new flavors of tea served hot. I went around 9am and waited about 5 minutes. Sit at the coffee bar or grab a table for a professional meeting. Within 10 minutes of my arrival, the shop was full. Great hangout spot with free wifi. There is a local bike shop in the back. Also, alcohol is served in the evening hours. Call for start times. Super trendy!

Interesting concept combining a coffee shop bar and bicycles. Wonderful building, great patio outside ,interesting specialty coffees, and a small selection of food and pastries. 11 oclock on a Thursday morning. The place is packed, seats at the tables were full and half the bar. Only one worker so things are moving slow. Clever use of the bike gears as decor
