I'm meeting a colleague here as it is mutually accessible for both of us. I've been to the original location of Mac's Speed Shop on South Blvd on any number of occasions. They've done a phenomenal job of replicating that experience and vibe. We met in the middle of the afternoon on Friday, and they still managed to have a respectable turnout for that time of day. We split the pulled-pork nachos and had a beer(or 2) and a cocktail. The beer and cocktails were outstanding, as were the nachos. It's a very vibrant and lively atmosphere with plenty of seating and TV's available. Yet, you could actually have a nice conversation without being unnecessarily overwhelmed by the noise. The staff members were very pleasant, helpful, and friendly. Rachael (I believe) was the on-duty manager and was exceptionally kind when speaking with her. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, as were the restrooms and exterior of the building. I look forward to returning to this restaurant and any other restaurant that has Mac's Speed Shop on the building. If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.

Maddie was one of the best bartenders I've ever had. I had the brisket plate that was delicious! The Mac n cheese is a must get! Also had the sweet potato fries that were good. Very good food!! 62 beers on tap helped wash it all down.

Got 12 counts of burn out wings. They taste smoked. Very nice. Burn out is their spices sauce. Taste is good, but not spicy at all. I mixed the wings with Flip-A-Los Atomic sauce, wow!! Smoky spicy taste. Made my drink more cold draft beers. You guys should really think having a very spicy sauce like Flip-A-Los, your draft sell will double :-). Wings A A+++ with Flip-A-Los Atomic sauce Fries B Make them crispier and they would become A If your not a fan of spicy wings, and looking for smoky taste, this is the place to get your wings.

I love barbecue and the sampler platter from Macs is really good. The ribs came right off the bone, the sausage was amazing, the chicken and brisket were really moist. They provide several different types of barbecue sauce. The Collard Greens was good. I didnt really like the baked beans, they were not thick enough and had a ketchup taste. They also had really good fried pickles. The price point was really reasonable.

It was surprisingly difficult to find a decent BBQ joint down here and we stumbled upon this place. The food was good, the servers were great and friendly. The atmosphere was almost like a biker bar but had all sorts of different people in. Had a good meal and enjoyed our time.
