What an experience!! Lake Wylie is very fortunate to have this restaurant! If youre looking for great food and a great time then you should definitely stop by drift. The food and drinks are amazing everyone!! Definitely worth the dollars spent! But what really makes it a great experience is Everyone was so friendly from managing staff to the young man who gave us our entrees. Just a warm and energetic environment all around. Something you would not typically get at a fine dining experience like this one. Also We had Joseph as our server and he was very attentive, friendly, helpful, etc. he really helped make our night special! Thank you drift for an amazing night!

We enjoyed a Sunday brunch here with a nice outdoor view overlooking Lake Wylie. It was our first visit and didn't disappoint. The tomato soup appetizer was perfect for a slightly chilly morning. We also enjoyed the Filet and Eggs and the Chicken and Funnel Cakes. We were seated right away and the service was friendly. The only improvement is they could have been better staffed. There were a couple of times we waited an unusual amount of time between visits from our server. The place is very large and can accommodate a lot of patrons.

We had a lovely experience at Drift. It's a nice new building building with a good atmosphere. Lots of openness so when the weather is nice you feel like you're sitting outside by the lake. The beef tartar and smoked salmon appetizers were delicious. The specialty ribeye and prime rib were delicious. The kid menu wasn't that kid friendly, with options having an adult taste. Our server was pleasant and attentive. One negative was that they placed 5 of us at a table for 4. We ordered a lot of food and spent a lot of money and the space that we were given to eat it was much too small. Although the offer was made to move, we were all settled and had received our drinks and apps, so we decided to stay where we were.

Was in the area decided to stop by while it was restaurant week. I must say the atmosphere, customer service, and location was very upscale and relaxing with a Mixed crowd. The drinks the bar tender made were delicious. They also have fresh bread of the week which was pretty good and my salad was delicious the balsamic vinegarett dressing topped it off perfectly. I also had the add-on marinated shrimp which was cooked perfectly as well as the cocktail shrimp. The salmon and braised lamb we ordered we actually took home and threw away it wasn't cooked to our liking but to each its own. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying their dishes and still enjoyed at views and atmosphere.

My friends and I dined here last night. We had a great time. Haley was our server and she provided great customer service. The ambience is exceptional. 2 things I would suggest for improvement... 1. Food could use a little more seasoning 2. Temperature - I would prefer the dishes to come out sizzling. Ours seemed a bit luke warm. I do understand the restaurant has only been open for a couple of weeks and I think the restaurant will have great success once the kinks get worked out. I will be returning and I see great potential.
