Came here for brunch for a friend's birthday, and it definitely was a VIBE! We arrived around 12:50pm and had to wait as the place opened up at 1pm. Once 1pm hit, he had to check in with security, which they I.D. 21+. Once we were let it, we checked in with the hostess & let her know we had a reservation. We sat down, and the D.J. was playing GREAT music! It's a very small quaint place, but the D. J. playing music helped us get hype and get into the vibe. They told us we got free mimosas for brunch, so all 3 of us got free mimosas, which tasted GREAT! the orange juice was refreshing and complimented our meals. I had ordered the Crab cakes that was listed on their brunch menu but the waitress said that they were out of them and that they never have Crab cakes so I ended up getting the omlette and some French fries. My friend got the shrimp and grits, which the shrimp was great, but she said the grits could have been better. Overall, this is a very nice lounge vibe that I will definitely come back and visit! Definitely recommend this place.

The atmosphere was great security make sure nothing happens other than fun, good food and drinks. The DJ plays the right music I had a drink called Georgia Peach it was so good and nice size for $15. I dont like big crowds and this atmosphere was perfect .

Listen I love me some CRU. The best lounge in Charlotte hands down and big shout out to my server Chrissy she makes sure you good and is very attentive with great energy!! They DJ is a whole vibe!!! P.s I ordered Lamb-chops and they so juicy and tender!!

I have ordered food from Cru 4 times. 2 of the times the food was good and the other 2 times it was terrible! My assumption is they have different people preparing the food each time because it is very inconsistent. Tonight I got the rasta pasta, it looks like they literally just poured jerk sauce on top of the pasta. The sauces were not blended together well, I had to stir it up myself. In the picture you can see the remains of just the jerk sauce on the sides. And because they dumped the sauce on top, it made the pasta soupy and all you taste is jerk sauce (or whatever sauce they use). It's not good at all, I attempted to eat it but ended up throwing it away in the end. Unfortunately, I won't take the chance in ordering from here again.

Catch a vibe at CRU CRU is the nations first franchised hookah & CBD lounge, so for you hookah lovers they have a little bit of everything to offer . Every dish we tried was packed with flavor I couldnt get enough of the lobster seafood Mac . Fun drinks, music, hookah & more . For me Im catching a vibe before the crowd comes in , so to duly note go early to avoid the club crowd . When we arrived it was pretty laid back for the most part . They offer brunch on Sundays as well as daily drink specials .
