City Barbeque

Great barbecue. Brisket was tender and juicy. Beans were excellent and fries plentiful. Love the sweet sauce. I've eaten at 2 other locations and they are all great.

We wanted to try a different BBQ joint, so we stopped in at City Barbeque. We had the City Sampler. For the price it will feed 2 people easy. They give you 5 choices of meat and two sides for about $22.00. If you want to feed a family of four they also have that available. You can go wrong if your in the mood for BBQ.
Let's Talk About Da Food
I was on a visit up to the Carolinas this past week and my cousin took me to his favorite bbq spot. I love great bbq and this place had some home runs and a couple of singles with several strikeouts. The dishes that were 5 out of 5 for me were the Smoked Turkey, Mac n Cheese, and Peach Cobbler....these 3 dishes alone are the reason I would most certainly return to eat here! The fried okra was a 3 out of 5 for me! Definitely worth ordering a double if you love okra! The Brisket was not the best but it was tasty. Green beans, Pulled Pork, Sausage, Baked Beans, Collard Greens, and Ribs....all of these left me wanting more flavor but these dishes didn't have me singing which I normally do when tasting something great. All these dishes were 1 out of 5.. I loved the decor of this place and its homey atmosphere.

My favorite menu item to order is the brisket. It never disappoints. My husband and I enjoyed our meal. Quick and friendly service. Convenient location with plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating.

I came here with a few colleagues. The barbecue ribs were okay, a little sweeter than I like. The mac and cheese were excellent. The collard greens were disappointing. It was freshly made but seemed to lack flavor. This is a Pepsi establishment versus Coke. I net out to four stars because it's a good fast casual place. Not somewhere. You would take someone to press them on the barbecue but otherwise a solid choice.
