Heist opened its doors in 2012, as Charlotte’s only Craft Brewpub. Originally brewing on a 10HL German brewhouse, we have opened a 30 barrel production facility. Heist focuses on small batch beer ranging from traditional Belgian Table Beers, Saisons, to IPA's and Double IPA’s, to Porters and Imperial Stouts. Our shared plate menu is served tapas style, showcasing wood-fired specialties, and is composed with an effort to raise the bar of pub fare to the next level. Our Chefs seek out produce and meats from local farms and purveyors, and utilize ingredients from the brewing process. Above all, Heist is an experience. Enjoy!

Decade old Charlotte brewpub turned pillar of beer scene continues to provide reliably excellent craft beers (hazy IPA, pastry stout, fruited sours - sure - but also more traditional styles too) and delicious food. Expansive space with two bar rooms, one including table service, and a great outdoor patio. Friendly staff are happy to help you find what youre looking for. Service is fast. Just a great place to get great beer, eat delicious food (we had the amazing cheese fries and Brussels appetizers and the chicken waffle tacos and pork tenderloin skewers - all delicious), people watch, and relax. Dog friendly.

I dont like to give less than 5 unless something happened that made me not want to come back. Ive been here a few times and usually enjoy the food. The beer is where its at though, I very much enjoy their selection. We came during lunch on a Friday and it was an overall good experience. I got the Cesar chicken wrap, it was just okay. I wouldve liked to see it be saucier and maybe have Parmesan cheese in it. It was a bit dry so thats my suggestion. We also got the quesadilla, as pictured. Overall, Ill be back. The service was great and the atmosphere is good.

I ate dinner at Heist recently as part of my goal to visit every brewery in Charlotte (nearly there!), and it is one of the more restaurant-y style breweries in town. Although it was Friday night, there wasn't a wait to be seated at a table (note: the only tables I saw inside were high tops, which might be a concern if you need accessible seating). I love a hazy IPA and there were several to choose from on the menu; it paired well with my fried chicken sandwich on brioche (pro tip: add pimento cheese). We'll likely return - once we visit all of the other breweries in town, that is.

Brunch did not disappoint - great patio area with a very attentive staff. Mimosa carafes came in more than orange, about 3 glasses per carafes, much better deal ordering solo. The pulled pork Mac and cheese flat bread hit the spot! The sauce was the right about of sweet and balanced. I will definitely return!

I have been to many restaurants and brew houses, this has by far been amongst the top best places to drink. We had such a great dining experience. Bryan was a terrific server who made excellent drink and menu recommendations. We had to let his manager Monica know how excellent of an experience we had. The drinks were delicious and the food was outstanding. We love in Greensboro, an hour and a half away, and I am willing to come back just to eat and drink. There is an autograph plaque from Guy Fieri but dont let that stop you. I have no respect for that guy and think he is an insult to the food community. But, I highly recommend anyone to come here and enjoy the food, drinks, great service, and ambiance.
