We took a trip to the magical Blue Door to celebrate my husband's birthday. What a gem. When we walked it - it reminded us of the private speakeasies of the 50s. From the security to the young women at the door it was already a step above. One woman checked out names in - and the other young woman hung our coats. We were then led through the magic blue door to the bar. It was my husband's birthday and they handed him a card and we were greeted with two glasses of crisp champagne. After a quick trip to the spotless and very cool restrooms we were given a tour of the menu by Michael. We love bespoke cocktails but the menu was literally a trip to some iconic cities around the US. I ordered the Denver, Co and my husband ordered New Orleans - both were delicious! We loved how the menu told a story - and we enjoyed paying through remembering trips we took to cities across the country. The service was amazing with all the bartenders being attentive. Each making us a round of drinks. We ended our night with an Italian liqueur which was a nice way to cap the evening off. Today I received an email to thank us for our patronage. The small touches really impressed us. This beautiful little bar shows care and attention is given to the details and hospitality is provided to the highest standards. We want to thank Michael and the entire staff for giving us a really special experience to celebrate my husband's birthday! We cannot wait to visit you all again!

What an incredible experience in Charlotte! I went on a date, and Kam (or Cam?) went above and beyond to help us navigate the menu, offering spot-on suggestions that perfectly matched our tastes. The drinks, expertly crafted by Mike and another bartender whose name I cant recall, were fantasticcarefully made with attention to detail. Even the popcorn was a delightful surprise! The music was at the perfect volume, creating a great ambiance, and the menu itself was creative and fun. Overall, this place nailed everything, and I highly recommend it! 10/10.

A new door has been opened to south end with the resent addition of Blue Door. From an incredible atmosphere to a cocktail menu that will surprise you with every drink. The team has curated an amazing experience on Mint street that will have you immersed in upscale southern charm. With a menu that has so many delicious options, I cannot wait to go back and try them all!

My new favorite cocktail bar! The interior is so well done and unique. The drink menu is creative and well thought out. I had the opportunity to try several different drinks and not one disappointed! The staff is very knowledgeable and does a great job with suggestions. Highly recommend!

First visit on opening night was very enjoyable. Really happy to have a new cocktail bar in South End. Menu is creative and sophisticated, we tried several drinks and all were unique and tasty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in finding a drink you will like. Will definitely be back.
