Nightlife & Entertainment
CLT NYE
Where: Truist Field
For the first time, the annual CLT NYE event is taking place at Truist Field. Gates open at 10 p.m. for ticket holders to experience the Light the Knights Festival, followed by a fireworks show at midnight to welcome 2025.
NYE Silent (((Sober))) Disco Party
Where: Romare Bearden Park
For a booze-free New Year’s Eve, Charlotte Thrives is hosting a silent disco in the park. Beginning at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, this dance party will act as a parade, making its away along Uptown’s pedestrian-friendly streets.
New Year’s Eve Party at The Ballantyne
Where: The Ballantyne
Book a night at The Ballantyne and head down to The Great Room, Carolina Room and Gallery Bar for dancing from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m. There is no entry fee for hotel guests, as well as diners attending the New Year’s Eve Dinner at Gallery Restaurant.
Rich & Bennett’s NYE Bash
Where: Brewers at 4001 Yancey
Rich & Bennett is kicking off 2025 with the annual NYE Bash. This private event features light hors d'oeuvres, party favors, beer, wine, liquor, champagne, a silent disco room, DJs and balloon drop at midnight.
Charlotte NYE Bar Crawl
Where: Uptown
Why spend New Year’s Eve at one location when you can make your way to multiple bars in Uptown. Check in at Prohibition then head to The Local Mortimers, Novelty Rooftop and more throughout the night with no cover, with the purchase of a ticket.
The Avett Brothers
Where: Bojangles Coliseum
The Avett Brothers return to Charlotte for their annual New Year’s Eve show at Bojangles Coliseum. The Concord natives’ show begins at 8:30 p.m. with opening act The Castellows.
Glamour & Glitz: Old Hollywood NYE Soirée
Where: SupperClub SouthEnd
SupperClub SouthEnd is saying goodbye to 2024 with a Glamour & Glitz: Old Hollywood NYE Soirée. From 9 p.m.-1 a.m., your ticket earns you access to hors d’oeuvres, a pre-paid drink package, live DJ and champagne toast at midnight.
Sweet Endings New Year's Eve Party

End the year overlooking the Uptown skyline at this New Year’s Eve party. Your ticket for this event includes live entertainment, champagne toast at midnight and all-night dessert bar.
The Ebony & Ivory NYE Affair
Where: Harold’s Chicken & Ice Bar
105.3 RnB will be broadcasting live from this end-of-year party. Enjoy a seafood dinner from 7-9 p.m. before the party gets started with three DJs.

New Year's Punchin' Eve 2025

Noon Year’s Eve at Discovery Place Kids
Where: Discovery Place Kids
Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville opens at 10 a.m. for a New Year’s Eve party at noon. Kids can create their own noisemaker and festive decorations then gather at the Town Hall Main Stage for a dance party and ballon drop.
New Year’s Eve at WinterFest

Ring in the new year at Carowinds’ WinterFest. The park is open from 5 p.m.-1 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 for this family-friendly celebration featuring WinterFest food, entertainment and fireworks at midnight.
Noon Year’s Eve at The Schiele

Bring the kids out for a midday New Year’s Eve celebration at The Schiele. This event is included with admission, but you can also get tickets to the Holidays Around the World planetarium program that highlights holiday traditions from around the globe.

Get ready for a morning full of fun activities in Matthews, recommended for children ages 4 and up. A kid-friendly DJ and other live entertainment will get the party started as you await the balloon drop at the stroke of noon.

Instead of the regular menu, Church and Union will serve a special three-course, prixe-fixe dinner. Reservations for party of two includes half a bottle of champagne, while parties of four can sip from a full bottle.
