Charlotte SHOUT! is one of the Queen City’s most-anticipated annual festivals. The 17-day event, April 4-20, features interactive and immersive installations, performances, classes and more under four main pillars: art, music, food and ideas.
New for 2025 are two free Charlotte SHOUT! passes. The Shop SHOUT! Savings Pass offers access to special menu items and exclusive coupons from participating businesses in Uptown. The second, the Charlotte SHOUT! Passport, is an events-based pass that allows you to earn points towards prizes.
Celebrate the best of the Queen City’s art, culture and community from April 4 – 20.
How the Charlotte SHOUT! Passport Works
The Charlotte SHOUT! Passport is mobile exclusive, but there’s no app download necessary. When you go to a Charlotte SHOUT! event or attraction, simply check in using the passport and you will earn points. These points can be redeemed for prizes, such as a SHOUT!-themed notebook and t-shirt.

Victoria Yards

Where: Victoria Yards
Visit the vibrant Victoria Yards during Charlotte SHOUT!, home to the main music stage. Victoria Yards also hosts the Carolina BBQ Festival on Saturday, April 5; Street Art Showdown on Thursday, April 10; Charlotte VegFest Jr. on Tuesday, April 15; SHOUT! JazzFest on Saturday, April 19; and more.

Where: First Ward Park
Created by Olivier Landreville, in collaboration with Serge Maheu, e/motion invites all ages to act like a kid again on the interactive, light up seesaws. These seesaws mimic the joys and sensations of surging water, allowing you to ride an infinite wave.
Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0
When: April 4-20
Where: First Ward Park
This interactive installation, by Esrawe + Cadena, features red-frame houses with swings, inspired by the mercados of Latin America. Take a seat and unwind as you rock back in forth, overlooking First Ward Park.
Easter Eggs on Parade
When: April 4-20
Where: The Green
A Charlotte SHOUT! tradition, discover 13 larger-than-life eggs throughout The Green, all created by Charlotte artists. The eggs are designed following this year’s festival theme: conservation; blending artistry and environmental awareness.
Fashion Row
When: April 4-20
Where: HUB at Overstreet Mall
The HUB at Overstreet Mall in Uptown is transformed into a pop-up boutique featuring designs from 13 of the Queen City’s top talent.
SHOUT! Lounge
When: Tuesdays through Sundays, April 4-20
Where: 200 S. College St.
Get all the info you need to know about Charlotte SHOUT! at the Lounge, a nostalgic nod to a ‘90s mall. Browse artist-run shops, enjoy live entertainment and pick up a festival map.
Queen’s Greens Mini Golf
When: April 4-20
Where: Levine Avenue of the Arts
A free fan favorite, this putt-putt course has a creative twist for 2025. Each of the nine holes are designed and built by a local artist, showcasing their interpretation of this year’s theme: conservation.
Luminous Lane
When: April 4-20
Where: 100 E. 4th St.
Once an average alleyway, Luminous Lane was transformed into a vibrant mural display during the Charlotte SHOUT! Spray Jam in 2023. The newest addition to Luminous Lane for 2025 is Ali Loncar’s “Just Keep Swimming.”
Pianodrome
When: April 4-20
Where: Two Wells Fargo Center
Pianodrome, located within the Wells Fargo Atrium, is the first amphitheater in the U.S. made entirely from 40 recycled pianos. Hear evening performances at this one-of-a-kind venue, Fridays and Saturdays during Charlotte SHOUT!.
Charlotte StrEATs Festival
When: Sunday, April 13
Where: Gateway Village
Watch local chefs go head-to-head in a culinary showdown to claim the title of StrEATs Neighborhood Champion. Between each round, shop the curated artisan market with culinary vendors and watch cocktail demonstrations from local mixologists.
Carolina Farm Trust Farmers Market
When: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, April 4-20
Where: Disc Plaza
Carolina Farm Trust brings fresh, local produce, scratch-made pastries and other culinary items from North and South Carolina farms and vendors to Uptown.
CLT Edgefest
When: Saturday, April 12
Where: First Ward Park
Edgefest is the ultimate celebration of art, music and community during Charlotte SHOUT!. Watch local artists live paint murals, dance to the beats of a DJ, and enjoy captivating music and dance performances, as well as spoken word, interactive art experiences and a scavenger hunt.
CANstruction
When: Saturday, April 12
Where: Bank of America Plaza
Members of the construction industry, including architects, contractors and engineers, put their artistic skills to the test by building structures or sculptures out of canned goods. All canned goods used will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
